Occupiers' Liability (Slip and Fall Claims)

There are some time limits of which you should be aware with respect to slip and falls. If the slip and fall takes place on municipal sidewalks or roadways, a notification of the claim must be made to the municipality within eight days. 

It is also very useful in the case of a slip and fall for you or a friend or family member to take photographs of the area in which the fall occurred so as to preserve evidence of the dangerous condition.  We will also arrange to obtain whatever evidence we can upon your retaining us.  In appropriate cases, we will retain engineers and other professionals to assist in proving the dangerousness of the land or premises that lead to injuries and damages.
